Pedals Up is looking for a skilled and motivated iOS Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing high-quality iOS applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to build scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications.
Develop, test, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and modern development frameworks.
Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional mobile applications.
Build intuitive, responsive, and high-performance application interfaces.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into iOS applications.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues.
Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions.
Maintain and enhance existing applications with new features and updates.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in Swift and a good understanding of Objective-C.
Experience with Xcode, iOS SDK, UIKit, and/or SwiftUI.
Understanding of iOS application architecture and design patterns, such as MVC and MVVM.
Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data.
Familiarity with Core Data, UserDefaults, and local data storage.
Understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency in Swift.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Knowledge of debugging, unit testing, and application performance optimization.
Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines and App Store submission processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Do we need clean data for this to work?
No. Most companies don’t have clean data on day one. We’ve built our process to work with messy data, CRMs, databases, APIs, even PDFs in some cases. If your data truly can’t be used at all, we’ll find out in the first 48 hours and offer a refund, not a 2-week extension.
How do you handle our IP and data security?
Everything you share stays yours. We sign an NDA before any work starts, use your data only for this engagement, and delete or return it once we’re done if you ask. Nothing you give us gets reused for another client or a case study without your sign-off.
What if the prototype doesn’t work?
Then you’ve spent two weeks and a fixed price finding that out, not two quarters and a six-figure budget. If it doesn’t hold up, we tell you plainly and you walk away with a clear answer instead of a sunk cost.
Is this AI consulting or actual development?
Development. We don’t sell strategy decks. You get a working AI prototype built on your own data, running by the end of the two weeks, not a set of recommendations for someone else to build later.
Can we extend the Quick-Start to 4 weeks instead of 2?
The two weeks is fixed on purpose, it’s what keeps the scope honest. If you need more time once the prototype proves out, that’s what the Sprint package is for: 4-6 weeks, fixed price, taking the prototype to production.
