Pedals Up is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in gathering business requirements, analyzing data, documenting processes, and supporting project teams in delivering effective business solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, designers, developers, and project managers to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Assist in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
Conduct research and analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and design teams to support project delivery.
Create process flows, wireframes, and workflow documentation when required.
Assist in validating requirements and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Track project requirements, changes, and deliverables.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings.
Support stakeholder meetings and ensure clear communication between business and technical teams.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of business analysis concepts and requirement-gathering techniques.
Ability to document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Familiarity with process mapping and workflow documentation.
Basic knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.

Do we need clean data for this to work?
No. Most companies don’t have clean data on day one. We’ve built our process to work with messy data, CRMs, databases, APIs, even PDFs in some cases. If your data truly can’t be used at all, we’ll find out in the first 48 hours and offer a refund, not a 2-week extension.
How do you handle our IP and data security?
Everything you share stays yours. We sign an NDA before any work starts, use your data only for this engagement, and delete or return it once we’re done if you ask. Nothing you give us gets reused for another client or a case study without your sign-off.
What if the prototype doesn’t work?
Then you’ve spent two weeks and a fixed price finding that out, not two quarters and a six-figure budget. If it doesn’t hold up, we tell you plainly and you walk away with a clear answer instead of a sunk cost.
Is this AI consulting or actual development?
Development. We don’t sell strategy decks. You get a working AI prototype built on your own data, running by the end of the two weeks, not a set of recommendations for someone else to build later.
Can we extend the Quick-Start to 4 weeks instead of 2?
The two weeks is fixed on purpose, it’s what keeps the scope honest. If you need more time once the prototype proves out, that’s what the Sprint package is for: 4-6 weeks, fixed price, taking the prototype to production.
